JUAN & GEE TO HELP STRENGTHEN THE MINORITY LGBTQ COMMUNITY BY LAUNCHING IT’S NEW NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, THE GENTLEMEN’S FOUNDATION!

ATLANTA, GA – MARCH 19th, 2014 – Juan & Gee Session-Smalls are the Gentlemen behind “LoveWorks”, a blog that promotes positive images of Love & Relationships within the LGBTQ Community, and G.SPOT Productions, a full-service Marketing & Event Production Company that produces the Annual Black Tie Fundraiser, The Gentlemen’s Ball. In an effort to unify their Gentlemen’s Brand, they have elected to change the name of their Event Production Entity to “G.Productions” (The “G” in G. Productions is an abbreviation for Gentlemen).

From the Producers: “When we first started G.SPOT Productions, our primary focus was Nightlife Promotions. We quickly discovered that this was not where our heart was. Instead, we wanted to put more energy into creating events centered around serving the LGBT Community and of course, servicing the needs of our clients. The G.SPOT name spoke more to the Nightlife Promotions Entity and as we Celebrate the Company’s 3rd Anniversary this month, we felt it was time to officially change the name so that it aligns with the brand of the company, The Gentlemen’s Ball and our newly formed non-profit, The Gentlemen’s Foundation.”

The Gentlemen’s Foundation, Inc. (TGF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the quality of life, leadership ability, and mental & physical health of the LGBTQ Community, particularly those in the African American and other minority communities. It will offer support, in the form of grants and increased public awareness, to other charitable and non-profit organizations that share the same mission or have similar goals, interests, and objectives. The Foundation is also set to launch its own Youth Mentoring Program later this year that will target young Gentlemen between the ages of 13-24 that identify as Gay or Bisexual and/or is struggling with their sexual orientation. The goal of the Youth Mentoring Program is to decrease the prevalence of depression and suicide among black and other minority gay youth by offering support, guidance, and positive examples of Black & Minority Gay Gentlemen through effective, holistic mentoring tactics.
