US Ambassador,
What does “it’s OVER for you”, “Work Bitch” and “YES yes YES” when you hear it.

Nadia,
It could mean one of two things…1 I’m doing something rite or 2, I’ve been CLOCKED (people have figured out that I am a transsexual.)

US Ambassador,
What is the process of coming up with a performance?

Nadia,
There really isn’t a process; I do songs according to how I’m feeling that day. If I’m having a good day I’ll “shake the room up”, but if I’m having a not so good day, I’ll do a song I’ve always wanted to do; however, in most cases, I just pick whatever artist I’m feeling at that time to perform during my show.

US Ambassador,
What’s your emotional state of mind with today’s LGBT community?

Nadia,
First, let me say that I believe, we are really at a stand-still as a LGBT community. There is no progression in our community when it comes to being accepted in a “wider world”. I feel that ultimately we want to be accepted for whom we are as individuals, but in most cases, we judge each other. Unfortunately, our judgment of each other leads to “outsiders” also judging us. Therefore, I feel emotionally I shouldn’t judge anyone, but provide an environment in which people are okay with who they are. This non-judgment of others leads to progression of the LGBT community and acceptance by a “wider-world.”

US Ambassador,
If you had an opportunity to meet Michelle Obama, what would you say to here?

Nadia,
I would ask her how it feels to be the first black First Lady. I would also want to know her true feelings about civil and gay rights in our country and what does she plan to do as a registered Democrat and first lady of our country to help promote rights for all people, including the LGBT community.

US Ambassador,
What makes a Woman not a Man and a Man not Women?

Nadia,
Of course the “politically correct” answer would be whatever is between your legs, but a vagina doesn’t make you a women and a penis doesn’t make you a man! However, the softness of a women’s skin and the “natural swing” of her hips when she walks is what makes her who she is. Also, her femininity makes her a women and not a man. The fact that she doesn’t try hard, that’s what makes her a women not a man. What makes a Man not a Women; simply his masculinity, which protrudes out of his mouth, through his voice; his ability to provide and be strong through adversity; his strength; and his swag. That’s what makes him a man!

US Ambassador,
What does Tracee Ellis Ross mean to you?

Nadia,
She is EVERYTHING! And her Swag is CRAZY SEXY!! Its New York Soho meets Rodeo Drive with a touch of Chicago!! I Love her she’s my idol!!

US Ambassador
If a movies would be made based on you, who would play your role and

Nadia,
I would say based on looks and actresses that would be more convincing, Nia Long or Angela Basset. However, as far as who would bring me to life Taraji Henson or Sanaa Lathan!

US Ambassador,
Who are the people are around you and has the most influence on you?

Nadia, I actually take different things from different people. As far as work goes, every girl I work with helps keep me on my toes. (“If there is not one person, it’s a village”). As far as everyday life, there are about two to four guys (I won’t mention any names at this time) in my life that are very goal oriented and patient who are positive influences in my life. Collectively, these individuals mostly influence what I do.

US Ambassador,
With you religious up bring, have your faith conflicted with your lifestyle?

Nadia,
No it hasn’t, I know I’m this way for a reason. I choose not to go to church because of my own reasons, but I do believe that there is a higher power and nothing about my life is conflicted!

US Ambassador,
When the metamorphosis of Kenya Black Dupree became your reality?

Nadia,
When I graduated from high school and got kicked out of college, honestly, that is when I knew that Kenya Black Dupree was my reality!

US Ambassador,
Do you consider your womanism a product of your environment?

Nadia,
People with a strong character appear to be impervious to influences of the circumstances around them. However, even these people are under the influence of their environment. My past environment has shaped me in such a way that I have gotten stronger and more able to withstand certain influences. Even though I may or may not have developed an unshakable character I am still not untouchable! I can however be highly selective as to whom and what I allow into my environment. I have learned to stand guard at the door of their minds, and that is a major reason for my success. Therefore, my answer to the question would be NO!

US Ambassador,
Share a misconception and stereotypes?

Nadia,
One of the biggest misconceptions is that all girls are top. Also, every transsexual is a sex worker, just to name a few!
