Atlanta, GA (August 21, 2013) – RockStars Production, the country’s leading LGBTQ event marketing and promotions company, will be the organizers and producers of Labor Day Rock 2013 during Atlanta Black Gay Pride weekend. The festivities slated Thursday, Aug. 29th – Monday, September 2nd will feature special guest performances from R&B superstar Kelly Rowland at 595 North Event Center on Saturday, Aug. 31st, VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Puerto Rican princess Joseline Hernandez will host Friday, Aug 30th at Museum Bar and sultry singer K. Michelle will perform her hit singles on Sunday, Sept. 1 at Opera Nightclub. The Hilton Garden Inn and Loews Hotel in Downtown Atlanta are the official host hotels for Labor Day Rock/Atlanta Pride weekend.

The 5-day long holiday weekend will also feature the 2nd Annual Pure Heat Festival which takes place on Sunday, Sept. 1st from 12pm – 8pm at the historic Piedmont Park. The cultural event will highlight market and food vendors, live performances and entertainment, educational forums, prizes & giveaways, all of which brings together the spirit of community, pride and vision.  The Pure Heat Festival also offers an opportunity to bring awareness to a community impacted by HIV/AIDS, and which advocate campaigns towards human rights, education, Health & Wellness, and Homelessness which greatly impacts the LGBTQ community at large.  The Pure Heat Community Festival is a front seat into a spectacular gathering of minority LGBTQ people and their allies in the heart of Atlanta.
